I can’t believe May is over already, this year is flying by! This month it was hard to choose my favourites as I seem to have so many! I hope you enjoy reading…
This is an old favourite of mine which I had completely forgotten about. The formula is one of my favourites ever, so creamy and buttery making it so easy to use and blend. It can be used for sharp contouring as well as bronzing the whole face, it adds amazing definition to my cheekbones. I honestly have had this product for about a year now and I still have so much left and I have used this so so much so you will not keep to worry about it running out. I love the packaging and it is perfect for travelling. It costs £19.50 which some may see as a bit pricey for what it is but I personally think it is so worth it, highly recommend this.
Another bronzing/contouring product that I have been loving, it is a very blendable, buildable bronzer which means it can be used in a ‘no makeup’ makeup look as well as a full glam makeup look. It is one of the only drugstore bronzers that is not orange in the slightest, it has a very small shimmer to it but it is not too overboard. It also smells nice which is an added bonus (is that weird?). I am always weary for cardboard packaging but this has been in my makeup bag many times and is still in perfect condition! If you are a newbie to the bronzing and contouring world then this is a perfect starter – so affordable and easy to use and no added worry that you are going to leave the house with orange patches on your face!
I have been loving having glossy lips this month which is very rare for me, I only own a total of three glosses so I have been using all three all the time! The three glosses are from Soap and Glory (mine is a mini size as I received it in a Christmas set), L’Oréal (mine is the shade Never Let Me Go) and Makeup Revolution and as you can see from the pictures – they are all pink! I think my favourite is probably the Soap and Glory one as it is very long lasting and I also love the tingling feeling of it on my lips!! The L’Oréal one is so glittery I love it, the gold shimmer to it think gloss is the perfect summer lip and goes with the majority of makeup looks! I really want to expand my lipgloss collection so do let me know in the comment section or over on my Instagram any recommendations!
I am not going to talk too much about this as I recently wrote about this in my Trying NYX Makeup blogpost but oh my goodness why I haven’t I tried this sooner!! It is amazing and does wonders for my awkward, horrible eyebrows. It is so easy to use, you can do a natural brow or a sharp brow with this – a little goes a long way so I can tell this is going to last me ages! I always have flawless brows with this and I don’t have a and word to say, I have been using this most days!
I love this, it is by far my favourite makeup remover. It leaves my skin feeling so hydrated and smooth and makes my skin look so much nicer than makeup wipes does. It removes waterproof mascara without having to violently rub your eyes which is a bonus! It is a very hyped up product and now I see why! I am definitely going to be purchasing the full size version as this mini size is nearly empty but considering I have been using it pretty much every day for 2/3 months it has lasted a lot longer than expected – a little goes a long way! Honestly can’t recommend this enough.
I have been loving the three masks L’Oréal brought out a while back, my particular favourite is the Detox one. One reason why I love it is the fact I look petrifying with this covering my face but other than this – ITS AMAZING! It gives your face a full clean and I use this every week. I brought it in February and I had to repurchase this month but it is so worth it, I use it on my T-zone and often combine it with the other two masks to make my face nice and colourful. I can always see a difference the next day and you can even feel it working, honestly this is an amazing, affordable mask that every needs!
That is all for this months favourites! I hope you enjoyed reading and don’t forget to subscribe to my blog if you did!
